Moldmax XL is a high-strength, high thermal conductivity copper alloy manufactured under patents by Brush Wellman Inc.. It is intended for use in a wide variety of plastic injection moulds. Its main properties include high thermal conductivity, excellent machinability, good corrosion resistance, good wear resistance, high impact strength, excellent resistance to galling, large cross sectional availability.
